Pruning continued
New Additions:
For those of you who were browsing around the time this update was posted, I apologize for any inconvenience caused while I was fixing errors.
In keeping with the pruning, I’ve deleted one layout and took down another that I plan to change more drastically than what I’ve been doing.
Of the things I’ve done, layouts pruned:
- Aphrodisiac, compare? Though I think I’ll be editing it more keeping Tammy’s suggestions in mind.
- A Winter Dream, compare?
- Intrinsic Thoughts, compare?
- Enigma, compare? *new
- A Girl’s Intuition, compare? *newer
- Feathered Angel, compare? *newer
The old versions will be online temporarily. I’ll edit the list tomorrow or later tonight with more.
There was a new premade in the making but it needs more time to finish and I wanted to make this month. In the mean time I’ve added a premade, not new, but new to the site. It was recycled to make Ink Me.
Another brush set added, this one was made and recycled from Temptress.
*-*;; Aelyn, you keep inspiring me with every graphic update you have. Your layouts are amazing. I definitely love the changes that you made with the layouts, especially the first two. ^-^;; The last one isn’t much of a difference to me though. =\
The new layout looks nice. Almost like a papyrus-look to it. ^-^;; And I do agree - kinduh messy looking which is nice. B)
Awesome, I’ve been wanting to download that kind of brush set. After having the wallpaper on my desktop for awhile, I’ve been wondering how the amazing Aelyn made it. XP
I have something to point out. I don’t know if this is going on in IE, but it looks like the content footer is aligned left.

The new remakes look great! It’s good that you took out the enter signs now that we all know they’re pointless. (right?)

“Ink me” needs a larger font (but you know that I do prefer those over tiny ones anyhow) I like how the new design looks so different that you wouldn’t even notice that it came from “ink me”.
You know my thoughts on the pruning/pruned layouts. FYI, for the word dream, I don’t know if its really applicable since there may be some discrepancies with brush writing, but the bottom right side shouldn’t have anything sticking out… This may be a tad hard to explain through here without some ridiculous visual drawn on MSN.

It’s awesome that you’re expanding everything and making the font bigger! Most people don’t bother (myself included–I just ditch it altogether), but your work is stunning enough to keep around.

All of the revamped layouts look wonderful; I particularly love the new color scheme of “Enigma.” And the new brush set is beautiful. :] I’m really excited about it, haha; I really really want to use it. :3

the new additions are WOW! i envy you when it comes to vectors, you’re so good at it…
and when comes to those templates… well i would say the new versions are better… better readable font size plus cleaner codes.. yay! keep it up huni! ^.^

@ Tammy: Can you tell I haven’t touched Ink Me and some of the other layouts on the site? I’ll get to them soon, I’m fixing them oldest to newest. I Googled the Chinese character and saw what you meant… although I did see a variation of it, but for now I did what you suggested.
@ Leo: Thanks! And yep, for the layouts I’ve designed, enter signs aren’t needed at all.
@ Chie: yeah, I’m glad I did… it’s been on my conscience for a while. Glad you liked them.
@ Veve: Thanks! Haha, I did think of ditching some because of the recoding… and I did delete the ones I thought weren’t worth the trouble to recode/change.
@ Zephyr: Ohh thanks for the feedback. It was such a strange color scheme, I wasn’t sure it would be liked. Glad you liked the brush set. =)
@ Ydreece: Thank you. The “new” premade actually used distortion filters but the brushes were vectored.

Hmm, I particularly like what you’ve done to Enigma, and it definitely feels like a completely new layout. However, the spacing of the updated version of Feathered Angel is very wacky in Opera 9.23.
The navigation runs into the content area, the repeating background is not aligned properly with the header image, and finally, the two images that make up the face of the characther is also not aligned properly. I just thought you should know.
However, I do like the changes that you’ve made to that particular layout, especially how everything’s not as cramped together. That, and I love brown.

Oh my… I loved Enigma ever since I first saw it. Ever since. And now… the color change just wow-ed me. Perfect. *__*
Oh, and increasing the font size is really, really okay. Lately I’ve been preferring Verdana 8pt with some spacey-ness. Aaah, pruning always does people good. You’re so awesome. *__*
