Past Versions

I don't change layouts as often, even when the site first started out. Save for the two ever premades that I've used, you'll find all the past layouts AExA has ever had - complete with previews and my personal comments on each.
Version: Turbulent Aquarea
![]() |
Comments: Save for it's header, this layout was designed more professionally. An almost monochromatic scale of blue, I tried incorporating an abstract projection of the waves and sea to complement the theme. The image is from Stock.xchng. |
Version: Junkyard Shift
![]() |
Comments: Can I just say how much I love this layout? This was one layout that I was most reluctant to change. The image is from Aethereality and the brushes from Chotoka. It was a time when ink splashed ruled and clutter was complete bliss. |
Version: Floral Inequities
![]() |
Comments: Simple, plain and ordinary. Nothing stylish or even creative. The image is from Getty Images. It took me ages to get all the flowers aligned in a way that looked like they had a flow. I loved the way it turned -- crazy, clean and professional. |
Version: Un-Sanity
![]() |
Comments: Abstract, random and blue - this version was and still is a reflection of a
stranger me. The image is from Getty Images and brushes from Geistengel & V- B. I had to tweak the previous version (poor thing) of this layout to accomodate the navigation. |
Version: Contemplative
![]() |
Comments: This version reflects a pastel subtle outlook in life. The image is from Getty Images and the brushes are from MagicBox. It barely lasted 2 weeks because I was insecure with the color theme and the minisicle design. The image featured was actually of a leaf. |
